Student plan

If you are studying, you can run Mockzilla for free. Every request is read by a person before the plan is granted.

It is a real plan, not a stripped-down one. Nothing is charged and no invoices are raised.

Before you apply

Three things have to be true.

• Your GitHub account is connected. It is part of what we look at, so there is nothing to review without it.
• Your organization is not on a paid plan. The student plan replaces a free one. If you already pay for a plan, cancel it first or apply from an organization that does not.
• It lands on your default organization. If you belong to several, the plan goes to the one you sign in to by default, not to all of them.

Apply

Open Settings, go to Connected Accounts, and find Student plan at the bottom. Choose Apply.

School or university is required. Put in the name you are enrolled under.

Proof URL is optional and helps. A GitHub profile, an .edu profile, an enrolment page: anything that lets a person confirm quickly.

Then Submit for review.

While we review

The panel changes to say your request is with us.

A person reads it and you get the decision by email. You can have one request open at a time, so there is nothing to gain by sending another.

Approved, or not

Approved, your organization moves onto the student plan straight away. What it allows is on the Plan tab under Billing, the same as any other plan, and the Invoices tab stays empty because nothing is charged.

Turned down, you get an email, and the panel says so along with any note the reviewer left. You can apply again.

Giving it back

Remove, on the same panel, puts your organization back on the free plan. The app asks you to confirm first.

Do this when you stop being a student, or when you are ready to pay for a bigger plan.
